About the event:
A friendly social badminton event where players of all level are welcome. Organizers will be making groups based on individual-level and will make sure each team gets their equivalent or slightly above level opponents and everybody gets to play competitive matches.
• RSVP for this event will open on every Sunday at 8:30 AM.
• First come first served will be enforced.
• Payment has to be made at earliest to confirm your spot.

How to join:
Step1: You need to RSVP as early as possible as there are limited spots.
Step2: Once you RSVP, you need to transfer the amount (AUD13) and leave a comment “Paid”.
Step3: Please pay by Tuesday to confirm your spot. It would also help us to manage the event better.
Payment terms and conditions:
• If you are on the waitlist, please do not pay.
• No refund if you change RSVP within 48 hrs to the event.
• 50% refund if you change RSVP between 48 hrs to 72 hrs to the event.
• 80% refund if you change RSVP between 72 hrs to 96 hrs to the event.
• Full refund if you change RSVP before 96 hrs to the event.
• Any questions, feel free to send a message to the organizer or co-organizer.

Rules:
• Be considerate and cooperate with opponents during warm-up.
• It is the responsibility of badminton players to call all faults on their side of the net fairly and objectively.
• Respect the opponent’s calls without argument. If there is doubt, consider re-playing the point.
• Mutual respect in playing the game is important and in maintaining amity throughout the match.
• When an opponent scores, return the shuttle with a light underhand stroke. This shows respect and acceptance of the shot; Always acknowledge an exceptional shot.
• Good badminton etiquette means keeping a calm temperament, irrespective of how cross or frustrated a player may become while facing adversity or victory on the court.
• Whether a player wins or loses the match he/she should always shake hands with the opponent.
• Don’t make noises that will disturb your opponent during a match.
• Pick up the shuttlecock when it lands in your half of the court and passes it back to your opponent in a friendly way.
• Don’t play a return shot to tease if your opponent’s shot is out-of-bounds.
• If your opponent is unhappy with the shuttlecock and asks to change it there is no need to refuse.
• When serving, make sure your opponent is ready!
• When a smash hits your opponent or a point gained luckily (by hitting the net and still going over for example), make a respectful gesture towards your opponent.
• Be mindful of other games in progress. When passing by any court, stay well clear of the sidelines and back boundary lines. This will not only keep you safe, but it also shows respect for the players on the court.
