Collecting Payments
Link your OpenSports group to your bank account through our payment gateway Stripe and receive automatic deposits. OpenSports accepts credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and other popular payment methods through our app and website.
General Questions
Can I trial your software before committing to a monthly plan?
Once you select a plan and receive approval from our support team, you can use OpenSports on a demo basis for 10 days without entering payment details. During this period, you’ll be able to test out the software, but won’t be able to make public events or collect payment. As soon as the invoice is paid all plan features will be activated.
Can I cancel my account at any time?
Yes. If you ever decide that OpenSports isn’t the best sports management platform for you, simply send us a message to contact@opensports.net and we will pause or cancel your subscription. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to your group until the end of your current billing period. Canceling your subscription will not provide refunds.
How long are your contracts?
All OpenSports plans are month to month.
Do you offer any discounted plans?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount for Non-profit organizations and charities. To request the discount, email contact@opensports.net.
Can I collect payment through OpenSports if I’m outside the United States/Canada?
Absolutely! OpenSports allows sports groups to accept payments in the following countries:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil , Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States
Is the setup PCI Compliant?
Our payment gateway, Stripe, is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. This means credit card data is secure. Read more about why we work with Stripe.
Can I use another third party payment provider with OpenSports, such as Paypal?
No, at this time, OpenSports does not support any other third party payment providers.
Can I get some features as add-ons to my plan?
