Set up a punch-pass membership

How to set up a punch-pass membership on the OpenSports website:

Go to your Group’s homepage > Click on the Memberships tab > Click on the Manage Memberships tab > Click on the Create Membership button >You will be led to a simple membership creation form!

Here’s how

1. Set a name and description for your membership. This name and description are displayed to your players, so make sure they are clear, accurate and concise!

Note: If you’d like some sample descriptions to copy-and-paste, scroll to the bottom of this article!

2. Set the price for the membership as well as the renewal conditions.

Note: for “punch-pass” style memberships, we recommend you select One-time, meaning that it does not auto renew. Players can easily purchase the membership again when they have redeemed all of their games.

3. Set the discount. Since this is for a punch pass, the discount is 100% off a set number of games. In this case, since it’s a 10-pass, the player will get 100% off 10 games (for $80).

4. Review your plan summary and press save! Now players will have the option to pay for this membership the next time they join an event.

Example of how this is redeemed on the players’ end

Punch-pass/Session-based membership:

• Player purchases a 10-game pass through your group for $80
• Player signs up for a game (clicks Join) and selects their membership plan upon checkout
• 1 game is redeemed from the membership, and the player has 9 games left on their membership
• Player can view how many of their events they have left on their membership
