OpenSports’ league and tournament discounts give admins more flexibility in how promotional pricing is offered. Create discounts for all registrations, or tailor them based on the member, activity, activity tags, or registration option.
Discounts can be used for member perks, early registration promotions, seasonal offers, or any other pricing incentive that works for your league or tournament.
What you can customize
League and tournament discounts can be customized based on how your organization operates. You can:
- Offer a percentage or fixed amount off
- Set optional start and end dates
- Set limits on how many times each member can redeem the discount
- Make the discount available to all members, specific members, or members who satisfy selected Member Rules
- Apply the discount to all activities, specific activities, or activities with selected tags
- Apply the discount to all registration options or only specific ones
This allows you to create broad promotions or highly targeted discounts without needing to create separate activities or pricing structures.
How to create a league or tournament discount
Locate Group Profile > Dashboard > Discounts.
Select League & Tournament Discounts.
Click Create Discount.
Enter a title for the discount and select the applicable currency.
Enter one or more discount codes that members can use at checkout. To add multiple codes, separate them with commas.
Note: You cannot edit a discount code once it has been created.
Choose whether the discount is a percentage or a fixed amount, then enter the discount value.
If needed, set an active date range or limit how many times each user can redeem the discount.
Choose who can redeem the discount. Select individual members, or use Filter to add conditions or apply an existing Member Rule.
Select which leagues or tournaments the discount applies to. You can apply it broadly, select specific activities, or use activity tags.
Choose whether the discount applies to all registration options or only selected registration options.
Review your settings and save the discount.
FAQ
1. How do I edit an existing discount?
From the Discounts page, click the three-dot menu to the right of the discount and select Edit Details. From there, you can update the discount settings.
You cannot edit a discount code once it has been created.
2. Can I add another code to an existing discount?
Yes. Click the three-dot menu beside the discount and select Add Code. Any new code you add will automatically use the same discount settings as the existing codes.
3. How do I manage the codes attached to a discount?
Click the three-dot menu and select Codes to view and manage the codes associated with that discount.
4. How do I remove a discount?
Click the three-dot menu beside the discount and select Remove.
