👥 Intended for all skill levels. No partner required. Whole teams are also welcome. We will have 5-7 courts! Games to 21 (cap at 23).
GAMEPLAY
Courts will be setup in a row and operate like a skill range with beginner/B players to the left of the row, A & AA players on the right of the row, and BB players in the middle; exact makeup of the range will be different every week depending on turnout.
🔞 Must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
Outdoor grass rules are in effect
-No let serves
-No open hand receives
-Hand sets/pushes must be perpendicular/square to the body.
Two-hour street parking only. The Broad Street Line (BSL) stops two blocks away at Ellsworth-Federal Station, use the Federal St. exit. Entrance to the field is in the middle of the block on 13th St.

RANKING SYSTEM (low to high):
Beginner ↗️ B ↗️ BB ↗️ A ↗️ AA ↗️ Pro
🅱️ players are still in the early learning stages of the game but knows the skills. They know how to bump, set (a little), and spike, but have a lot of practice yet to go to be able to do these skills consistently. A "B" player makes mistakes often.
🅱️🅱️ players knows where to be on the court at all times when plays are developing. They know where to be when the opponent is hitting. They know the footwork of and how to approach hitting effectively.
⬇️BB (lower-BB) and ⬆️BB (upper-BB) refers to how consistent you are at passing, setting, spiking, blocking, digging and serving. ⬆️BB is 80% consistent at every skill point for your physical characteristics. You must be able to effectively play doubles, not just "know how".
🅰️ players are above average competitive players. They have in depth knowledge of offensive and defensive game play, and use advanced strategies to be successful. Level A players are typically able to compete at a high level.
