SHADEHUNTERS UNITE - If this is a favourite session for you, be sure to check each week whether it is running at Nissan Arena, Hibiscus Stadium or Mt Gravatt Rec Hall. These are our three indoor venues, and the session location may change depending on venue availability.

Nissan – Join the fun! There are levels to suit every player, we are dedicated to fun, friendship and skill development and run entirely by volunteers.

This session is for intermediate players who want fun, social, and engaging games while continuing to improve their skills.

You may be a good fit if you:

• Can rally consistently and use drops and dinks
• Understand the rules and keep score correctly
• Enjoy a relaxed but still challenging style of play
• Value good rallies, laughs, and positive court energy

Expect:

• A fun-first environment
• Moderate pace with time to reset between points
• Encouragement, experimentation, and learning through play

This session prioritises enjoyment, connection, and confidence-building, while still offering meaningful game play.  Players may still be developing consistency and strategy, and that’s expected in this session.

Players of higher skill level playing in this group are expected to adjust their play to the level on court and work on placement and strategy throughout the session.

Our hosts will run a variety of session types based on the participants who join. If needed, they will provide feedback to ensure the session is the right fit for you.

Indoor balls are used at Nissan Arena and are usually orange in colour.  It would be appreciated if you avoid wearing oranges, reds, or bright pinks which can make it difficult to see the ball for some players. 

All players are expected to ensure that their behaviour at BPC sessions upholds the SPIRIT of Australian pickleball, and is in line with the PA Code of Conduct policy.
