Have you always wanted to try ballet but have never had the opportunity? Then you must join us for our Beginner Adult Ballet 6 Week Series-perfect for the ABSOLUTE beginner.

Taught by The Movement Project Founder, Lindsay Daniels, learn ballet terminology, basic positions, build strength and body awareness through traditional barre exercises and finish the class in the centre where you will apply all of your skills in ballet combinations. An excellent introductory class for anyone wanting to learn more about the beautiful world of ballet dance.

Modifications are always available if needed so you can push yourself accordingly. Low stress, lots of encouragement and an inclusive environment. Please let your instructor know in advance if you are managing any health concerns they should be aware of.

Attire: Bodysuit and tights are NOT required (although welcomed if you feel great in it!) Please wear what you are comfortable in. Ballet shoes, bare foot or sock feet are all options (we believe ballet shoes are ideal if you can swing it). Leggings, a fitted tank or t-shirt for example are all great options for class.

This 6 week session runs consecutively from Sunday, January 5th-Sunday, February 9th at 4:15-5:15pm and classes are held at Jennifer's Arts in Motion in Whitby.

Please note At least 7 registered dancers are required for this class to run. Full refund will be issued 24 hours in advance if the class needs to be cancelled due to low enrolment*
