How to open a variety of ticket classes/registration options

Open up a variety of ticket classes including captain pays in full, split payment, early bird tickets, and free agent tickets

Terminology

Registration Options — This is how you set up the tickets that team captains or free agent players will sign up through.

  • This will allow captains to sign up as having a team or players to sign up as a free agent.
  • If you open up tickets for team registrations, either the captain pays in one lump sum, or they can split the payment so that each person — when they sign up for the team — pays a fixed price per player.

How to add multiple types of tickets

1)To add tickets for Team Registration, just click ADD, which will open a ticket creation form.

2)Here, you can select if the Payment Split is Team (one player pays in full) or Individual (payment splitting).

3)Create a title and description for the ticket, add the price, and select the registration dates that will apply to this ticket class, and click Save.

4)Repeat this process for as many different ticket types as you would like to make.

5)If you ADD tickets for Free Agent Registration, players can register as free agents, and you could add them to different teams as you wish.

Example

  • In this example below, the league admin opened up a max of 16 team spots in the league during the league setup process
  • Here is an overview of all of the registration options available, with their respective registration dates:
  • 16 early bird split payment team registrations at $130.00 per player which ends Sept 4 2020;
  • 16 regular split payment team registrations at $160.00 per player which opens after the early bird deadline and ends Sept 22 2020;
  • 15 Free Agent registrations at $160.00 which is available throughout the whole default registration period
  • You’ve created 22 team spots, but only the first 16 (the maximum number of teams in the league) can register. The system will automatically ensure this.
